Linden High School was put on lockdown this morning, following a bomb threat that was made via email. All other schools in the Linden school district went into 'Shelter in Place' mode.

The district received the threat about 7:30 this morning (9/7) and immediately began following its emergency-preparedness protocol, according to this letter from Interim Superintendent Russell Ciesielski.

Argentine police, the FBI, and the Genesee County Sheriff's Department were contacted, and a K-9 unit began conducting a thorough sweep of Linden High School.

At 9:27 am, authorities issued an all-clear, and the district lifted the lockdown on the high school and discontinued the Shelter in Place for all other buildings.

If you have information regarding the incident, you're asked to contact Linden Schools at 810-591-0410.
