BJ Ragone

Born and raised in a little town called Westerlo, NY.  Being brought up on the top of the Helderberg Mountains I endured many things.  Hillbilly's, loud trucks, the smell of fresh cow manure and of course boredom.   So I got my act together and wandered off the mountain into the big city.  Took up a love for radio and the rest is history.  A few things about me: -I'm a hot dog connoisseur.  You need to know the best topping for a hot dog, I got your back. -Favorite band is Black Sabbath.  Both the Ozzy and Dio years.  Anything after that is just weird.

Can a Successful College Coach Win in the NFL? — Sports Survey of the Day

Coaches moving from the college ranks to the NFL tend not to work out. For every Jimmy Johnson success story, there are the disappointments of Barry Switzer (Johnson's successor in Dallas), Steve Spurrier, Lou Holtz and Nick Saban—all extremely successful NCAA coaches who, for whatever reason, couldn't find the same level of achievement in the pros.

This weekend's end-of-game incident between veteran Giants head coach Tom Coughlin and rookie, fresh-from-Rutgers Buccaneers coach Greg Schiano got us thinking ...
