State Representative Jim Ananich of Flint will visit several area elementary schools tomorrow Friday, April 20, to highlight Earth Day which takes place Sunday. Ananich plans to discuss the benefits of recycling and renewable energy with the students.

"Our young people have the most to gain from increased recycling and wise use of our resources," said Ananich. "By making them aware of these issues early, they can play a large role in preserving our land and water so that future generations can reap the economic benefits and enjoy plentiful hunting and fishing."

Ananich will be visiting students at Pierce Elementary in Flint and Gaines Elementary in Gaines. To download a copy of the recycling materials he will present, you can visit his website.
