An amateur storm chaser struck gold in Columbiaville as he caught footage of a tornado touch down in Mid-Michigan.

Michigan experienced the most extreme wind in recent history last week, and despite no tornado's reported, a storm chaser uploaded video of the tornado in Columbiaville a couple of years ago.

The camera man was driving through Lapeer County, in Columbiaville when he noticed the conditions for a possible tornado, and his instincts were right.

He ended up catching an EF-2 tornado on camera, along with the hail and severe storm conditions.

I had no idea that an actual tornado touched down so close to Flint.  Luckily nobody was hurt in this potentially dangerous situation.
