AAA Michigan: Gas Prices Up Slightly

State motorists will find the average gas prices up slightly this week according to AAA Michigan. The current statewide average is just over $3.70 per gallon, up just over two cents from last week.

Gas prices in and around the Flint area are just a few cents less than the state averages with prices hovering around $3.67 per gallon.

AAA says this week's minimal price increase can be attributed to record U.S. crude oil inventories and oil production output that is outpacing demand. AAA surveys 2,800 Michigan gas stations daily.
