Gas prices have dropped about 25 cents over the past two weeks, AAA Michigan reports. Michigan's current statewide average is just over $3.36 per gallon, down about 13 cents from last week.

Of the cities surveyed by AAA Michigan, the cheapest price for self-serve fuel can be found in the Lansing/East Lansing, where it's about $3.23 a gallon. The highest average is in the Marquette area at about $3.56 a gallon. As of Sunday, gas prices in and around the Flint area were around $3.26 per gallon.

AAA expects the national average to fall another 10-20 cents be the end of October saying the average price at the pump typically falls during this time of year due to decreased demand and the transition to winter blend.
