For the second week in a row, gas prices have dropped more than 13 cents a gallon according to AAA Michigan. The current statewide average is $3.13 per gallon, down about 14 cents from last week. AAA Michigan says Michiganders have not seen gas prices this low since February 2011.

Of the cities surveyed by AAA Michigan, the cheapest price for self-serve unleaded fuel can be found in the Grand Rapids/Muskegon/Holland area where it's about $2.95 a gallon. The highest average is in the Marquette area at about $3.41 per gallon. Gas prices in and around the Flint area are averaging $3.04 per gallon.

AAA reports global oil prices have continued to slide as supplies have outpaced demand and that Michigan ranked first in the nation for largest weekly savings in gas prices.
