Well, Harrison Ford didn't really make history with Jackie Robinson, but he did make a historical movie where he plays the guy who made history by signing Jackie Robinson to the Brooklyn Dodgers in this new trailer for '42.'

'42' refers to the number Jackie Robinson wore as a player for the Brooklyn Dodgers, and the story of how he came to wear that number is told in the new film of the same name starring Harrison Ford as gruff team executive Branch Rickey, who may not have been gruff, but Harrison Ford makes every role that way.

Rickey lit up history when he signed Robinson to the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947, making Robinson the first black man to play in the major leagues since the 1880s. For decades black players had been segregated to their own league, but Rickey and Robinson changed the tide.

Beyond that, Robinson was an amazing athlete, playing in six World Series and helping his Dodgers win the World Championship in 1955 -- spoilers?

Below is the second trailer for '42,' which seems like your typical biopic/historical drama, but sign us up for anything starring Harrison Ford. The film also stars Chadwick Boseman as Jackie Robinson, Alan Tudyk and Christopher Meloni, and hits theaters on April 12. Check out the latest trailer below.
